THE MASCULINE JOURNEY

AN INVITATION, NOT AN OPEN REGISTRATION

For men who built the life and
forgot parts of themselves in the process.

You're reading this because someone who knows you thought you belonged here.

WHO THIS IS FOR

Surrounded by people. Known by no one.

You're surrounded by people. A team, a family, a calendar full of names. And there's still no one who gets the real version of you.

The part that numbs out on your phone after everyone's asleep. The part that dives back into work to feel worth something. The part that learned a long time ago that being loved meant performing well enough to earn it.

Not because you're broken. Because you've never had a room where that could be said out loud without it changing how people see you.

Men leave Pine Island different.
More present at home. Clearer about what matters.
Lighter than when they arrived.

Not because we promised it, but because four days off the grid
with the right men does that.

THE JOURNEY

Every man's journey here is his own.

No two men walk onto this island carrying the same thing. One man's work is a marriage he's stopped showing up for. Another's is a business he built that swallowed him whole. You won't be handed someone else's process and told to make it fit. What gets challenged in you is specific to you, and so is what you'll walk away with.

But you won't be alone in it. Every man in that circle can relate. He's there right now, he's been there, or he will be. Whatever you're carrying, someone next to you already knows the weight of it.

IN THEIR WORDS

From men who've been in the circle.

THE SETTING

There is no road in. That's the point.

Pine Island is private. You reach it only by boat, seaplane, or water taxi. Over a thousand feet of shoreline, loons and eagles overhead, and a constant breeze that keeps it mosquito-free. There are Tentsile hammocks strung in the pines, a lagoon and a grotto, and a place the island calls Whale Rock.

Getting here means leaving the easy way behind. By the time the boat pulls away from the mainland, you've already started.

THE ARC OF THE DAYS

This isn't a schedule. It's a journey.

The heart of it is conversation. Not small talk, not networking. The kind of conversation you don't get anywhere else, the kind that goes past the version of yourself you show the world and finds the man underneath it.

To get there, we use movement, breath work, and dynamic meditation. Not as the point, but as the doorway. Years of performing wrote stories into your body you've stopped noticing. This work loosens them. It surfaces what's ready to be felt, reveals what no longer needs to be carried, and opens the door to actually say it out loud to another man.

What you need will show up when you need it. Every man's path through these four days is his own. We won't hand you a script. We'll walk with you into whatever you're ready to find.

THE RETREAT

Four days on Pine Island.

A small group of accomplished men, one island on Long Lake, and the space to do the work that actually matters. Guided practice, real brotherhood, and time away from the version of you that performs — with room for the version of you that's ready.

WHO'S GUIDING THIS

Randy.jpeg

Randy Bernard

Randy has carried a monthly sales quota for 327 straight months, with very few misses.

Sales leader. Author. The guy who built the numbers everyone else was chasing.

Then he bought an island.

Not a stunt. A decision.

A man who'd already won the game most guys spend their whole life chasing, and instead of running the next lap, stepped back and asked what he actually wanted his life to look like.

Randy knows what it takes to build the kind of success everyone applauds. And he knows success alone was never the finish line.

Mark Carey

Mark was a collegiate wrestler before he was anything else.

Wrestling taught him to push through pain and call it strength. Ignore what you feel. Perform anyway. That mindset carried him through a career as a licensed professional counselor, and into building two companies from the ground up.

But the skill that made him tough on the mat was quietly costing him off it. He was great at pushing through emotion. He'd never learned how to actually feel it.

That's the work he's spent the last several years unlearning and now leads other men through. Not managing your mind. Moving through what you feel instead of burying it.

He's your host this weekend, and he's done the work he's about to walk you through.

Josh Lanphear

Josh graduated at the top of his law school class and became a corporate bankruptcy attorney.

By the numbers, he'd made it.

Six years in, something wasn't adding up. He was overweight, burnt out, and anxious. His relationship was falling apart.

Successful on paper, empty everywhere else. He realized the corporate title and money wasn't enough. He wanted more than what he'd built.

He wanted to feel alive inside it.

If you've ever looked at everything you built and thought, there has to be more than this, Josh has been exactly there.

He's one of the men leading you through this weekend.

Every man guiding this has walked a similar path between the life they built and the person they forgot while building it.

Real men who chose to do life differently.
